I strive to capture the essence of an event, person or object. For an event, I'll capture the attendees, but I also like to photograph the surroundings, the weather, decorations, people on the sidelines, body language, everything. I wish viewers to look at my images and just know. To feel in each photograph, the meaning and message contained within each shot. For objects, capturing that special something that sets it apart is key. Every car, bike, train or plane has a feeling, an artistic angle. Photos single these emotions out and display them for you to enjoy. When capturing a person's portrait, it's a matter of bringing their personality out so that others can see how they were at that moment in time. It's also important that a portrait have a voice on it's own, often independent and equally important.

MY EXPERIENCE:
I've been a photographer and videographer for over 9 years. I was educated at Loyola University Chicago, the University of Southern California - USC and Columbia College Chicago. I cut my teeth in the catalog photography business shooting commercial photos of furniture, art, home accessories, rooms and toys. I've lead teams on local and national TV video production as a director of photography doing documentary-style videography, corporate videos and commercials. I currently shoot for a billion dollar health care company as their exclusive photographer and videographer.
